Simplest method is going to be to leverage a real X11 display with OpenCL+GL support for the application to also have a chance of running after installation. Whilst VirtualGL might work if you also have the OpenCL interposer working too, along with the ROCm modules, but we cannot guarantee that will work. However, I also know this will not be enough to run the application once installed anyway.

AMD CUDA DRIVER FOR DA VINCI RESOLVE WINDOWS
Root cannot export windows to a user VNC session without an authentication. Normally I would suggest simply running via sudo in a VNC session with your window manager running, rather than root directly as you have presented us. Understandable problems to encounter trying to debug this remotely, I somewhat sympathise. If you can't get the issues resolved, just be honest and tell us to buy NVidia hardware, since they seem to know what they are doing with their own drivers, while you don't. Many of us have already wasted enough time & money with you. #1256 please don't respond with a disingenuous and belated post if you don't plan on actually "resolving" anything. The only response we've gotten from AMD so far is that the ROCm support team is new and will respond slowly (if at all).: As mentioned, I am happy to help as much as I can, since so far, I consider my investment in AMD GPU to be a waste (for reasons in that thread, that have been covered ad nauseam). Sorry to be cynical, but please don't comment unless you plan on actually fixing the driver. I (and others) am still on ROCm 3.3, because of AMD's poor support so far. Which is a thread I started 18 months ago, where I (and others) are still waiting for someone from AMD to help with DaVinci Resolve.Įvery version of ROCm since 3.3 has not worked. And I am happy to provide any additional hardware info you need, as long as I haven't already covered it here:
